The Eccles Dinosaur Park encompasses six acres and allows visitors to experience the former terrain of these prehistoric creatures. Built in 1846 by famed pioneer Miles Goodyear, Fort Buenaventura has been reconstructed on its original site. Livestock, cabins and heirloom gardens demonstrate what the fort looked like in the 1800s. Today the park offers facilities for camping, picnics, hiking, fishing, wildlife viewing, canoeing and more.
